Acting Through Song ​with Stephanie Lynne Smith and Caitlin Lushington (Resound NW)

In this class, participants will learn how to apply acting techniques to more fully inhabit a song they are working on. You’ll unpack the text of your song and learn how to invest in the imaginary circumstances of your song’s story. We’ll explore nervous system regulation techniques for keeping you grounded and calm during performance, and you’ll celebrate and support your fellow participants’ performances with playful and engaging exercises.
